Aurorix (moclobemide)

AURORIX belongs to a group of medicines called antidepressants.  Antidepressants are used to treat depression and work on the central nervous system. They are thought to work by their action on brain chemicals called amines, which are involved in controlling mood. There are many different types of medicines used to treat depression.  AURORIX belongs to a group of medicines called reversible inhibitors of monoamine oxidase A (RIMA).

Ducene (diazepam)

DUCENE is used for anxiety.  Anxiety or tension associated with the normal stress of everyday life usually does not require treatment with medicines.  DUCENE is used to relax muscles.  DUCENE can also be used to treat trembling, confusional states or anxiety associated with alcohol withdrawal.  It is also used to treat panic attacks. DUCENE belongs to a group of medicines called benzodiazepines.  They are thought to work by their action on brain chemicals. Benzodiazepines are not recommended as the only treatment of severe mental illnesses and should not be used alone to treat depression.

Hypnovel (midazolam)

HYPNOVEL may be injected as a sedative during some short medical procedures. HYPNOVEL may be given to you by injection before an operation to produce sleepiness or drowsiness and to relieve anxiety. If you are in an intensive care unit, you may receive an infusion of HYPNOVEL over several hours or days as a sedative. HYPNOVEL belongs to a group of medicines called benzodiazepines.  They are thought to work by their action on brain chemicals. HYPNOVEL can cause sedation, hypnosis, amnesia and/or anaesthesia, depending on the dose.

Lexotan (bromazepam)

LEXOTAN contains the active ingredient bromazepam. LEXOTAN belongs to a group of medicines called benzodiazepines.  They are thought to work by their action on brain chemicals. LEXOTAN is used for anxiety. Anxiety or tension associated with the normal stress of everyday life usually does not require treatment with medicines.

Madopar (levodopa + benserazide)

MADOPAR belongs to a group of medicines called antiparkinsonian agents. Antiparkinsonian agents are used to treat Parkinson’s disease and work on the central nervous system.  The symptoms of Parkinson’s disease are caused by a deficiency of a natural substance in the nervous system. MADOPAR helps to replace this substance.  By improving muscle control, MADOPAR allows more normal movements of the body.

Rivotril (clonazepam)

RIVOTRIL drops and tablets are used for the treatment of epilepsy in infants, children and adults. RIVOTRIL Injection is also used to treat status epilepticus. RIVOTRIL belongs to a group of medicines called benzodiazepines.  They are thought to work by their action on brain chemicals.
