AVASTIN is used to treat brain tumours resistant to previous treatments, metastatic (spreading) cancer of the large bowel (i.e. in the colon or rectum), breast or cervix in combination with chemotherapy agents, lung cancer and cancer of the ovaries and fallopian tubes (which can extend to the lining of surrounding organs such as stomach, liver) in combination with chemotherapy agents and kidney cancer (renal cell cancer) in combination with interferon therapy (ROFERON-A®).

Cotellic is used to treat a type of skin cancer called melanoma that has spread to other parts of the body and cannot be removed by surgery. Cotellic is used in combination with another medicine called Zelboraf (containing the active ingredient vemurafenib). HERCEPTIN is used to treat breast and gastric cancer. It is only used in patients whose tumour has tested positive to the protein HER2 (human epidermal growth factor receptor 2). HERCEPTIN may be used alone or with other medicines that treat breast cancer, such as an aromatase inhibitor (hormone receptor positive breast cancer) or a taxane (e.g. paclitaxel or docetaxel). For the treatment of gastric cancer HERCEPTIN is used with chemotherapy medicines cisplatin and capecitabine (or 5FU).
