Roche Products Packaging and Family Design Changes

Roche is introducing a new global packaging design for pharmaceutical products set to be phased in gradually from February 2009 in Australia. Importantly the quality of our products and all ingredients remain the same.

The main changes you or your customers may notice include:
• Changes to artwork – colour coded banding for product and presentation
• Change to bar code
• Consumer Medicine Information (CMI) removed from packs of some medicines (retained in Xeloda & Roaccutane) CMI can be downloaded from http://www.roche-australia.com/downloads
The new look is a response to requirements of health authorities and expectations of medical professionals, aiming at facilitating the quick identification of products and dosage strengths.

The first packs in the new design in Australia will be Vesanoid, Avastin, Xeloda and CellCept and will be supplied early in 2009. For the remaining Roche pharmaceutical products, the new design will be phased in over the next two to three years.
