Powered by our people

Our social impact program is embedded across our business and driven by the passion and efforts of our people who contribute through fundraising and volunteering.

With an offering of three days paid leave for our people to volunteer, we aim to deliver measurable social impact through skilled and non-skilled volunteer opportunities.

Our partnership withprovides an abundance of opportunities for our people to take on virtual volunteer projects aligned to their skill set or as a development opportunity in response to a clearly defined need. We also enjoy ‘boots on the ground’ style volunteering activities in groups or in line with specific causes individuals are passionate about.

Throughout the year we support a number of fundraising events in collaboration with our charity partners. Funds raised by employees participating in Roche-sponsored events are often matched by Roche, doubling our contribution to these causes.

The Roche Children’s Walk is our company’s global annual signature employee project. Since the first company walk in 2003, more than 230,000 Roche employees have raised over AU$27 million in donations for children’s projects around the world. Employees fundraise for Camp Quality and Re&Act.
