  • reportable payments and benefits to healthcare professionals for provision of expert services (e.g. giving a lecture, chairing an educational meeting, providing advice as part of an Advisory Board); or sponsorship support to attend medical education events.

  • sponsorship support of independently organised Third Party educational activities and meetings with the purpose of enhancing medical knowledge and the quality use of medicines.

  • the nature of our relationships with health consumer organisations where financial support, or significant direct or indirect non-financial support, has been provided.

Notes:

Reportable payments made to healthcare professionals are detailed in six-monthly reports, in accordance with MA Code requirements and Australia’s privacy legislation. Prior to publication, each healthcare professional listed in the reports is afforded the opportunity to verify information. Data will be publicly available for three years from the date of publication. To comply with privacy obligations, reports may be amended from time to time. Any use or disclosure of data in the reports by a third party is the responsibility of that third party, who must comply with Australian privacy laws.

Our support provided to healthcare professionals and organisations is governed by industry and company regulations.
